After the death of Anguish in 1894, Sarah remarried a man named S.M. Horton. Documentation for this is the 1900 census where she is a widow by the name of Horton, and her father's obituary in 1900 which also names her as Mrs. Emma Horton. I have been unable to find the name and details of Mr. Horton so far.

Abraham and his 2nd wife, Sarah Emma Fraley, had other children: Frank, Lillie, Pearl, Alma & John. I am researching others.

Died:
Some show his date of death to be Apr 17 1909 in Madisonville. This information had no resources, is unconfirmed, and still being researched.

Buried:
It is rumored that he is buried in Larrison Cemetery with his son Willie (from his 2nd marriage). This is unconfirmed and being researched.

She was 4 years old and living in Leon County in the 1860 census. Some say she was born in Centerville.

Died:
So far no others have been able to find what happened to Melvina. All that we show is her husband getting remarried in 1886 to Sarah Fraley. Annie looks to be the only child of Melvina and Abraham.

Research shows that John had a second marriage to Nancy Elizabeth Barrett - m: abt 1862, Texas. Together they had 6 children: Thomas b: 1867; John Jr b: 1870; Ophelia b: 1873; Cyrena b: 1874; Montie b: 1878.

John married Cyrene Grantham on 26 Jan 1836 in Perry County, Alabama, USA. Cyrene (daughter of Matthew Grantham) was born in Abt. 1812 in Georgia, USA; died in Bet. 1851 - 1860 in USA. [Group Sheet]

There is a marriage license found in Greene County April 1835, but the marriage took place Jan 1836 in Perry County. Some records mistakenly have Cyrene's maiden name indexed as Graham.

Joel later remarried 3 times after the death of Mary. His last marriage being to Sarah Fraley. Her brother Caleb Fraley was married to Joel's sister Sarah.

Have been unable to find Mary's family. I did a quick search for Lawrence in the 1850 census in her area and did find one family in Grimes County but have yet to connect them in any way. On Family Search someone has her father as John Lawrence but nothing to show for proof.
